Hi my name is Fire and I have just come from Alabama, but I don't have a banjo on my knee.  That is an old joke, but I like to put a smile on people's faces.

I was a brood, which means I have spent the last few years having puppies.  I liked being a Mom because I got lots of attention and really good food.  Now I am tired of the "little ones" and am ready to be retired both from racing and being a Mom.

My foster mom has been taking really good care of me.  She (and my foster sister Missy) have shown me the ropes and I am now ready for my forever home.  I am not a kid anymore, so I have some requirements for my new home.  I like soft beds, dog beds or people beds will do the trick.  I like toys and like to throw them up in the air and catch them.  I like treats of any kind and a good senior food. I would like to have only treats, but my foster mom says I have to eat my food first.  (I know from first hand experience, you have to listen to your mom.)  I like to run in the yard and I like to play bow and have you try to chase me.  I am fast, so you can't catch me, but I like for you to try.

Here is a picture of me enjoying an afternoon nap.  It is important to have beds to put your feet on even if your body is not.

I am white with black ticking.  (That is lots of little black spots all over my body.)  I have one black spot on my left ear which my foster mom says is a good place to kiss.  I really like lots of kisses and attention.  I also like to be close to you and will follow you around the house.

If you think I would be a good addition to your home and you are ready to get lots of lovin from me, contact the nice people at GEGR and they can set up a meeting.  I love to be around people.

Until later,

Fire
